About the Speaker:
Shelly started with basic Medical Coding in 1998. She worked in a Revenue Cycle company billing anesthesia services for the first 8 years. She moved on to start a small Coding company and processed reports for multiple specialty practices.
Humana Insurance Company hired her to their Medicare Products Division to audit medical records and begin teaching physicians and their staff proper reporting methods.
She is currently working remotely with Ambulatory Surgical Centers nationwide, reporting multi-specialty surgeries.
